After graduating from the Psychology Faculty, Education Management Department, at Kabul University in 2018, I dreamed of using my knowledge to serve my country. I believed that four years of study should help me make a difference for my people. However, life in Afghanistan proved much harder than I had imagined. Finding a job in my field without power or money was almost impossible. This experience taught me an important lesson: talent and effort are essential, but sometimes external conditions shape our paths.

Determined to contribute to my homeland, I chose another path. I began teaching English in private schools. The journey was not easy. The salary was low, and the workload was heavy. I also had to teach other subjects in which I had little interest. Yet, my love for helping others and my hope for change kept me moving forward every day.

Teaching became more than a job—it became a way to grow and make a real impact. Every student in my class reminded me of the hope I once had. I realized that small steps, even under difficult circumstances, can lead to great achievements.

My ultimate goal was to teach at a university. When the opportunity arose to become a university lecturer in English, I sent my resume immediately. I was fortunate to be accepted. Today, I enjoy a supportive work environment, a fair salary, and enough resources to focus on guiding my students.

This journey has taught me that true success comes from persistence, patience, and hope. Every class I teach, every question a student asks, reminds me that the hard days were worth it. My work to serve my country and my people continues, and I am more motivated than ever to inspire the next generation.

I believe that life is a continuous journey. Every step, every lesson, and every challenge can shape our future and the future of our community. Striving to help others gives life meaning, and every small success opens the door to brighter horizons.
